| Every year we help to raise money for our international philanthropy Juvenile Diabetes and also for our local philanthropy the Copper Country Humane Society. In the fall we sell Alph Gam cards or discount cards in which all profits go to funding diabetes research. For our local philanthropy we have dog walking rushes, have helped raise money to put towards a new animal shelter, and volunteer at the shelter at various occasions. Our chapter also participates in Adopt-a Highway where we have a mile stretch in the Keweenaw peninsula. Additionally we participate in Big Brothers Big Sisters "Bowl for Kids" event every spring, plus other donation and volunteer events that arise during the school year. | |
